It also governs your choices regarding the collection and processing of your Personal Information (defined below). This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Coaching Corps through the Site, as well as information that you submit to us through email, text message, or other electronic message. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected through third-party websites that you may access through the Site.
Please review this Privacy Policy carefully. When you access and use the Site, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY PART OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
Information We Collect
Personal Information
We may collect various kinds of information that you provide to us as well as information we obtain from your use of the Site. This information may include personally identifiable information, which is information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information includes your contact data (such as, for example, your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number) and your demographic data (such as, for example, your gender identity, ethnicity, birthdate, and zip code). We collect Personal Information in the following ways:
Registration and Portals
We will collect certain Personal Information from you, such as your name, email address, city, zip code, phone number, username, and password if you register for the Site and create an account. If you set up a profile in your account, we collect your gender identity, ethnicity, and birthdate, to the extent you provide such information. You may review, remove, or update your Personal Information at any time by logging into your account and editing your profile. In addition, if you are a volunteer coach, please review our Coaching Agreement (the “Coaching Agreement”), which may apply to your use of the Site and your online account. If you are one of our partners please review our Coaching Corps Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), which may apply to your use of the Site and your online account. This Privacy Policy is referenced in the Coaches Corner Web Portal Terms and Conditions and the Partner Terms and Conditions.
Online Giving
We will collect certain Personal Information from you if you make a donation through the “Donate Now” page. Such Personal Information includes your name, address, and amount of your donation. Online donation transactions are processed by Stripe, an independent third party. The credit card information that you provide in connection with a donation is not received or stored by us, but is stored and used by Stripe, for them to process your donation. If you wish to make an online donation, your Personal Information relating to such donation will be collected by Stripe and will be subject to Stripe’s privacy policy. By clicking the “donate” button on the “Donate Note” page, you authorize us to charge your credit card and to process your donation.
Correspondence with Us
The Site contains email links to contact us and you may elect to include Personal Information in communications that you send to us through those links. You may also contact us to request to partner with us, and may elect to include information of your organization, such as, for example, its name, email address, region, and physical address.
Non-Personal Information
We may collect information about your online activity that, by itself, does not identify you (“Usage Data”). Usage Data may include (1) technical information, such as your browser type, service providers, operating system, and other similar information, and (2) metadata, which means information related to items you made available through the Site, such as the date, time, or location that a comment was posted.
Usage Data may also include location data, which is non-personally identifiable information collected about the location of your mobile device or computer. Location data collected may include: (1) the location of the mobile device or computer used to access the Site derived from GPS or WiFi use; (2) the IP address of the mobile device or computer or internet service used to access the Site, and (3) geographic location of visitors (country, city). This information is anonymous and cannot be directly linked to individual users.
How We Collect Information
Whether we collect certain types of information and how we process it depends on how you use and access the Site. Some information is collected automatically through the use of cookies and similar data collection tools. We collect information about you in the following ways:
Information You Provide
We collect Personal Information that you voluntarily submit to us when you register on the Site, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources where you voluntarily provide your information on the Site.
You may, however, visit our Site anonymously, though we still may collect non-Personal Information from you related to your visit. You can always refuse to supply Personal Information, except that it may prevent you from engaging in certain Site related activities.
Information from Our Business Partners and Service Providers
Third parties that assist us with our business operations also collect information (including Personal Information and Usage Data) about you through the Site and share it with us. For example, our vendors collect and share information with us to help us detect and prevent fraud and assist with our impact and data analysis.
Web Browser Cookies
Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance your experience. Cookies are small computer files sent to or accessed from your web browser or your computer’s or tablet’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes and that contain information such as user ID, user settings, browsing history and activities conducted while using the Site. Cookies do not themselves collect personally identifiable information, but may be linked to your Personal Information that you provide to us through your interaction with the Site.
You may choose to set your web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you choose to so adjust your web browser settings to block cookies, some features of the Site may not be available or function properly.
Web Beacons
Small graphic images or other web programming code called web beacons (also known as “1×1 GIFs” or “clear GIFs”) may be included in our web pages. The web beacons are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Site users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored in a user’s computer hard drive, web beacons are embedded invisibly on Site pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Web beacons or similar technologies help us better manage content on the Site by informing us what content is effective, count users of the Site, monitor how users navigate the Site, count how many e-mails that we send were actually opened or to count how many particular articles or links were actually viewed. We do not tie the information gathered by web beacons to your Personal Information.

We may use your email address or phone number to respond to inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If you are on our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, and related product or service information. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or you may contact us via our Site.
If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages, you may receive text messages reminding you to complete certain tasks (if you are a coach) and notifying you of upcoming events. We share some of your Personal Information, such as your name and phone number, with Twilio, who provides us SMS messaging services. Information collected by Twilio will be subject to Twilio’s privacy policy. If at any time you would like to stop receiving text messages from us, you may “opt-out” by responding “STOP” to the most recent text message received from us.
Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature. This feature lets you tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. These features are not yet uniform across browsers. We do not engage in online tracking of our users (i.e., the collection of personal information about a user’s online activities over time and across third party websites or online services), and therefore, the Site is not currently set up to respond to “Do Not Track” signals. We also do not authorize third parties to collect Personal Information about an individual user’s online activities over time and across different websites when a user uses the Site.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Information or Usage Data to others. We may share and disclose information as described at the time the information is collected or as follows:
When You Consent

Third party providers have access to your Personal Information as needed to perform their functions, but they may not disclose your Personal Information for other purposes. For example, and as mentioned in “How We Use Collected Information” above, we share some of your Personal Information, such as your name and phone number, with Twilio, who provides us SMS messaging services. In addition, we may disclose your Personal Information to third party service providers in order to identify a user in connection with communications sent through the Site.
In Aggregated Form
We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any Personal Information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and service providers for the purposes outlined in the “How We Use Collected Information” section above
For Legal Purposes
We also may share information that we collect from you, as needed, to enforce our rights, protect our property or protect the rights, property, or safety of others, or as needed to support external auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions. We will disclose your Personal Information as we deem necessary to respond to a subpoena, regulation, binding order of a data protection agency, legal process, governmental request, or other legal or regulatory process. We may also share your Personal Information as required to pursue available remedies or limit damages we may sustain.
For Business Changes
If any or all of our assets are acquired by, or mergers with, another entity, we will share some or all of your information with that entity and/or your Personal Information and Usage Data may be owned by that entity.
How We Protect Your Information
We have appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your Personal Information and Usage Data stored on our Site. But no method of data transmission over the Internet or data storage is 100% secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information on our internal servers or transmitted to or from the Site. You must maintain the security of your information as well – for example, by not sharing your password and account information with any unauthorized parties.
Links to Third Party Websites
You may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensees, and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interacting with any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.
