Are you offering summer programs for youth? Looking for training opportunities for your staff? Coaching Corps is pleased to offer our highly interactive, three-hour in-person coach training or our 90-minute online coach training to Coaching Corps community partner staff and volunteers.

Our coach training is an excellent professional development tool for new and veteran coaches alike. This is a great way to help your staff run engaging sports and outdoor activities. Take advantage of this free training opportunity before the summer begins. There are also opportunities to train your staff at the end of the summer, in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Training topics covered (In-Person and Online Options available):

Building Blocks for Quality Youth Sports: It’s not just sports for sports’ sake.  Young people can learn numerous skills that transfer from the playing field to the classroom, home, and community.  Learn the Coaching Corps framework of Youth Development and how to implement it so we can help kids reach their full potential.

Coaching Skills: Learn the Coaching Corps Practice Model and Tricks of the Trade to build upon your coaching skills

Positive Behavior Management:

  • Learn preventative tricks of the trade to help minimize behavior challenges
  • Learn intervention strategies so we can all respond effectively to behavior challenges and support kids learning and growth
