Coaching Corps Receives Grant from Under Armour

We are proud to announce that we received an award of $100,000 in funding from Under Armour! This fantastic grant will be used to support the training of coaches and teachers at various Baltimore City public schools and at the UA House at Fayette. This grant kicks off the third year that Under Armour and Coaching Corps have partnered to positively impact youth in the greater-Baltimore community.

A champion for philanthropy, Under Armour is dedicated to investing in programs that provide kids with access to sports programs that teach life skills and support coaches who are committed to making a difference. Coaching Corps’ nationally-recognized program addresses the need for youth in underserved communities to have access to afterschool sports programs with a trained coach that serves as a mentor and role model. By integrating sports with youth development tactics, coaches create positive, inclusive and safe environments that enhance engagement, physical activity, skill-building and character-building. With Under Armour’s support, Baltimore coaches and teachers will have the opportunity to participate in our premier training.
